FLsun QQ Enclosure

The way the FLsun QQ is designed makes it easy to enclose it. Printing ABS is possible with this enclosure.

The printer sides are covered with a five mm tick board, 31.4 x 66.6 cm. The corners of the panels have notches cut into it. The notches are 8 x 13 mm. A helpful template tool to cut them is included. You need to print three sets of these files except for the tool.

The panel I used is foam boards. Use another material since it can be a fire hazard. A more rigid material is preferable. I had to glue some reinforcement as shown on the picture. The boards are five mm tick.

The brackets are slightly slanted to fit the printer’s shape. So, a given bracket goes only in one of the four corners.

The brackets are held to the printer using the screws that retain the vertical rounded panels.

As mentioned by https://www.thingiverse.com/Bebop33, the extruder will hit the walls if you print an object larger than 22 cm in diameter.

Support that touches the build plate is required.

This object was designed using Fusion 360
